Auckland's newest waterfront restaurant, Q, is a happy blend of style and simplicity.

Looking out over the hotel's private pontoon, Q Restaurant and Bar is our signature dining experience.

Q Restaurant and Bar is Auckland's only restaurant where you are able to moor your boat and step right into a sophisticated dining room and bar. Q is a series of four dining alcoves seating 70 people, serving delicious seasonal food from top New Zealand producers, beautifully cooked and served.

Rare Mexican marble cuts a dramatic swathe across the restaurant, while dark stained American Oak floors and shifting mesh curtains offset ochre, hand-stitched Italian leather chairs and gleaming white tables.

With two double-sided fires, the restaurant is divided into four dining alcolves. A combination of glowing, backlit marble, rich wood and flickering flame provides intimacy in the cooler weather, while in the warmer months, bifold doors are flung open to the wrap-around waterfront esplanade and tables moved outside for guests to enjoy the marina activity of the Viaduct.

Open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
*Please note that Q Restaurant will be closed for lunch on Saturday and Sunday during winter.
