Situated right in the heart of Auckland, and overlooking the Viaduct harbour, the hotel celebrates its waterfront location with sweeping marina views and spacious promenades that within minutes lead you to the bustling restaurant and shopping districts nearby.

A short walk away is the casino, a number of theatres, several concert chambers and cinemas. A longer walk takes you through hundred year old oak lined parks and the historic warehouses around Victoria Park and the interesting Westhaven Marina. For the more athletic, Auckland's waterfront is a natural jogging track - just head east from the hotel, across the CBD waterfront, and you can soon be running along the Pohutakawa lined promenade of Tamaki Drive alongside the harbour.

Venture further afield by walking to the ferry building, just a waterfront amble of 15 minutes, and you can catch a ferry to the picturesque islands of the Hauraki Gulf and spend the day exploring wineries and stunning beaches. Or just head over the water to historic Devonport and enjoy a coffee or lunch as you soak up its laid-back village atmosphere and pretty beaches.
