In order to set the stage for the evening Unwind ritual, the hotel lobby evolves from day to evening through a variety of subtle sensory transformations. Warm, natural lighting is dimmed at the start of the evening while scented candles are lit and carefully placed around the lobby. Westin Music moves from the background to the foreground with musical cues that herald the start of the Unwind hour.

The Westin Melbourne's Unwind ritual encourages you to make the transition from day to night as you are taken on a journey through the cocktail ages.

Led by a trained bartender, learn how to make your favourite cocktail as you savour local produce and leave behind the day's concerns. The Unwind ritual takes place in the Martini Bar from 5.30pm Tuesday through to Saturday. The event is for purchase at a cost of $29.00 per person.
